Following an invited architectural competition organized by Coopérative B22, LRS was commissioned to design and deliver 19 apartments near the new CEVA district in Eaux-Vives. The project concept seeks to highlight the lush vegetation omnipresent on the site by inserting a building that slips in between the many existing trees. The five levels are organized around a central stairwell, and each apartment takes advantage of the complex building form to maximize outward orientation. On the lower ground floor, the building adapts to the natural topography to accommodate two shared spaces connected to the garden, while the roof is made partially accessible for all residents of the building.
